Erin Carpenter LCSW - Therapist VermontErin Carpenter, LCSW graduate from Bucknell University with a BA in Psychology. She received her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania.

With over 15 years of clinical experience, Erin has helped clients in a variety of settings including residential treatment, outpatient clinics, and private practice. Erin has expertise in treating Trauma and PTSD, Eating Disorder, Mood Disorders and Addiction. She has provided clinical supervision to master’s-level students and postgraduate therapists.

Erin is the author of the bestselling book Life Reinvented: A Guide to Healing From Sexual Trauma for Survivors and Loved Ones (Quantum Publishing, 2014). Erin is the co-author of various research publications.

Erin combines deep listening and understanding with powerful tools for change drawn from evidence-based therapy practices like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Erin has a focus on psychedelic therapy and has training in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), psilocybin-assisted therapy and MDMA-assisted therapy.

When not working, Erin loves spending time with her family including 2 daughters. She also loves hiking, cross-country skiing, gardening and painting.

Erin is licensed in Colorado.
