Laura Graham MSN, CRNP, PMHNP-BC graduated from Calhoun Community College with an AD in nursing, The University of North Alabama magna cum laude with a BS in nursing, and from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a MS in Nursing. She is currently a PhD student in the University of Alabama/University of Alabama Huntsville’s joint nursing science PhD program. Ms. Graham’s research interest include patient violence indicators, genomics, and psychotropic polypharmacy in the intellectually disabled, all areas where integrated psychiatry and the promotion of patient well being are vital. She enjoys learning alongside Dr. Pruett who has been her mentor and collaborating physician for close to 10 years.

Ms. Graham has worked in psychiatric nursing for almost 20 years in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She has been working as a psychiatric nurse practitioner since 2014 and has a private practice in Alabama where she focuses on promoting wellbeing and medication management.

Ms. Graham enjoys spending time with her family which includes her husband, 4 daughters and granddaughter. She is a voracious reader and a lover of all dogs, belonging to several dog clubs and volunteering as the secretary for her local animal shelter board. She is a passionate advocate for children in the foster care system and has served as a court appointed special advocate (CASA) volunteer  and is a proud foster/adoptive parent. She will also watch any football game that is on but particularly Alabama football. Roll Tide. She looks forward to working with you!
