Samantha Ingerick, APRN-BC, PMHS-BC

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Samantha graduated from Dartmouth College in 2004 where she studied biology and psychology. She later earned her RN/BS and Nurse Practitioner (NP) degrees in 2013 from the University of Rochester in upstate New York. Following her graduation she worked for a small primary care clinic in Berkeley, CA and as a neuro-oncology NP at Stanford Children’s Hospital in Palo Alto, CA while completing her Doctor of Nurse Practice (DNP) from the University of California, San Jose/Fresno State in 2019. She then returned to pediatric primary care upon moving to Vermont shortly after. Within this role, she has been caring for pediatric patients with behavioral health needs and has gained expertise in their clinical management. Her fondness for this population, and her growing interest in psychiatric needs of children and families, prompted her to obtain her pediatric mental health specialist board certification in 2022. She joined Taconic Psychiatry in 2023 and is excited to continue her focus on providing compassionate care in efforts to meet the mental health needs of children and adolescents in this community.

Having grown up in Vermont, Sam has enjoyed reuniting with the maple leaves and ski hills after spending several years in California. She is a former Div. 1 collegiate basketball player and still enjoys playing recreationally. She and her husband now live in Vermont with their two children and their dog Ozzie.

Samantha is licensed to provide services in both Vermont and New Hampshire.
